The mission of the California Trail Center is to interpret the California Trail experience, its related themes, and provide educational and cultural enrichment to the general public. We have dioramas and interactive exhibits that immerse the visitor in the trail experience. We feature costumed interpretation and demonstrations of daily life for both Native Americans and pioneers. We also have a partnership with the non-profit Southern Nevada Conservancy. We sell books, children’s gifts, apparel, candy, and other miscellaneous Trail related items.
